Amanda Stout, DVM

Dr. Stout grew up on Dunkerton, Iowa hobby farm and wanted to be a veterinarian from an early age.  She graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science.  Dr. Stout then attended Iowa State University and in 2014 was awarded her DVM.  Dr. Stout joined the Cedar Rapids Animal Hospital in the spring of 2017.  She enjoys internal medicine cases, and helping owners improve quality of life for their geriatic pets.

Dr. Stout and her husband Josh share their home with two daughters and one dog Casper. In her spare time, Dr. Stout enjoys cooking, reading, gardening and spending time outdoors with her family.
