Marty Weber, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. Weber grew up on a farm in rural Hedrick, Iowa. He attended the University of Northern Iowa and graduated in 1997 with degrees in chemistry and biology. He then attended Iowa State University and in 2001 was awarded his DVM. He also received the IDEXX award for proficiency in pathology. After graduation Dr. Weber and his wife Lori moved to Wisconsin where he practiced for several years before returning to Iowa. He started at Cedar Rapids Animal Hospital in 2006, became partner in 2010, and has been sole owner since 2014. Dr. Weber enjoys diabetes management, challenging medical cases that can be resolved surgically, and small mammals.
In his spare time he enjoys playing volleyball, watching Cyclone athletics, mud runs and volunteering at his daughters' schools. Lori enjoys volleyball and is an active volunteer at their kids' schools. Dr. Weber and Lori have three daughters Paige, Claire and Regan. All of the girls are active in dance and enjoy teaching their dad some dance moves. Paige also enjoys reading, animals and taking after her parents in her love of volleyball. Claire enjoys reading, animals and mud runs, and is the mischievous one of three. Regan's interest include dance and being spoiled by her older sisters. Dr. Weber and his family have three cats, Steve, Prince and Little Joe and one dog Zeus. Dr. Weber enjoys having the pet to provide some male bonding in his house full of girls.
